摘要: Non-sebaceous lymphadenoma (NSLA) is a rare benign salivary gland tumour with lymphoid and epithelial components without sebaceous differentiation. The large majority of the reported cases arise within parotid gland. We present an NSLA arising from submandibular presented as painless longstanding neck lump. Ultrasound, fine needle aspiration, MRI positron emission tomography found features supportive squamous cell carcinoma. patient was treated surgery for oropharyngeal carcinoma unknown origin, in accordance local national guidelines. final histological assessment revealed level Ib lesion to be NSLA. Although occurrence, these lesions may pose diagnostic challenge head cancer pathway.
