摘要: Polymer materials are of importance as substitute in medicine because their individual properties specifically adjustable. Their compatibility with the biological system (biocompatibility) and functionality stability used decisive factors for medical practice, especially purposes implants. The commonly include PET (textile vascular prostheses), PTFE, PUR (vascular replacements, blood pumps, cardiac valves), polyolefines such PP or PE (threads, joint replacement), silicone elastomers (prostheses ear, nose throat field, special orthopaedic items) polyamide. Pharyngo-tracheal valve prostheses, also referred to voice rehabilitation patients who have had larynx completely removed.
