摘要: Oncogenic viruses are one of the most important causes cancer worldwide. The pathogens contribute to establishment human malignancies by affecting various cellular events. Epigenetic mechanisms, such as histone modification methylation/demethylation, critical events manipulated oncogenic drive tumorigenesis. Histone modifications mediated acetylation and deacetylation, regulated acetyltransferases (HATs) deacetylases (HDACs), respectively. Dysregulation HDACs activity affects viral tumorigenesis in several ways, manipulating tumor suppressor gene expression. present review aims describe vital interactions between both cancer-caused/associated HDAC machinery, particularly focusing on those involved gastrointestinal tumors, some common viral-mediated cancers.
