摘要: Publisher Summary 31P magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) has become a tool of choice to investigate noninvasively the energetic metabolism human muscle. As first applications animal models, MRS technology evolved with development rf surface coils and availability high field wide-bore superconducting magnets. Metabolic explorations have then been extended in situ situations animals humans. This chapter focuses on exploration muscle energetics by MRS. It also presents specific information learned from diagnosis various forms myopathies follow-up therapies. The describes malignant hyperthermia discusses why current results highlight need standardized protocol for these metabolic reinforce central role within multidisciplinary network involved investigation disorders.
