摘要: A new methodology for cost/benefit analysis of generation investments considering system constraints has been developed. The proposes to address the uncertainties in generator outages, transmission failures and other constraints. sequential Monte Carlo simulation is used simulate random component states while subsequent commitment and/or load curtailment each simulated calculated through application OPF. Network behaviour state then calculate energy generation, revenue, amount curtailment, frequency, duration plant. proposed applied on IEEE RTS numerically validated by comparative viability different generators types their locations. realistic electricity prices, data are taken from Queensland power Australia modify data. Finally, significance financial benefits extra efficiency reliability also investigated.
