A comparative autoradiographic study of keratohyalin granules containing cystine and histidine

摘要: Ultrastructural localization of cystine containing protein in keratohyalin granules newborn rats was studied and compared with that histidine using radioisotope-labeled precursors autoradiographic techniques. The frequency radioactive labels appearing over after injection ( 3 H)cystine not as high H)histidine. However, analysis grain counts indicated a concentrates the dense homogenous deposits (DHD) granules. number center increased. incidence granulelike inclusions nuclei granular cells also increased time. Histidine contrast concentrated elsewhere than DHD. These findings demonstrate are made heterogenous constituents different chemical composition; at least one is relatively rich another contains levels histidine.
