摘要: Iron matrix syntactic foams with four different glass microsphere fractions were prepared via powder metallurgy. Effects of compaction pressure and lubricant addition on the microstructure mechanical properties investigated. It was observed that densification fracture, softening, shrinkage, bonding microspheres tended to increase pressures. The incurring fractures in inverse ratio fraction. fracture softened degraded onset plateau stress values proportionally at low pressure, while enhanced stabilized them about 240 MPa higher pressures regardless fraction, owing increased load bearing capacity by a formation solid particle-like microspheres. formed pores or accelerated depending fractions, it had no significant effect characteristics except brittleness.
