摘要: Abstract Purpose To evaluate the psychological implications of an apparently false-positive screening result for prostate cancer. Methods The sample comprised 167 men with a benign biopsy in response to suspicious test (biopsy group) and 233 normal prostate-specific antigen (PSA) (control group). responded questionnaire within about 6 weeks their or PSA results. They were asked demographic characteristics, medical history, effects, experience, cancer knowledge.
