摘要: Objective. Some effects of progesterone on glioma cells can be explained through the slow, genomic mediated response via nuclear receptors; other suggest potential role a fast, nongenomic action by membrane-associated receptors. Methods. The treatment expression levels receptor membrane component 1 (PGRMC1), plasminogen activator inhibitor RNA-binding protein (PAIRBP1), and progestin adipoQ 7 (PAQR7) both mRNA were investigated in spheroids derived from human cell lines U-87 MG LN-229. Results. only significant alteration at transcript level was decrease PGRMC1 observed LN-229 treated with 30 ng/mL progesterone. No visible alterations using immunohistochemical analysis. Stimulation resulted an increase but PAIRBP1 protein. Double immunofluorescent detection identified two proteins to partially colocalized cells. Western blot analysis revealed expected bands for PAIRBP1, whereas detected PAQR7. Conclusion. is supposed receptors as absent tested spheroids.
