FTIR spectral characterization of thin film coatings of oleic acid on glasses: Part II. Coatings on glass from different media such as water, alcohol, benzene and air

摘要: Oleic acid thin film was coated on soda-lime-silicate (SLS) glass from different coating media such as benzene, ethyl alcohol, water and air with times concentrations. When the medium is relatively more COO-metal ion complexes formed substrate surface, resulting in a layer rigid ordered structure. This caused by high solubility of oleic lower metal dissolution rate medium. The time less important factor ordering molecular chains than was. effect concentration significant when alcohol or rather benzene. most highly-ordered structure obtained even at concentration. investigation reveals that behavior substrate, material dissociation metal-carboxylate (COO-M) significantly influence interaction mechanism between substrate. These factors can be controlled selection an appropriate medium; thus, we design organic films optimized properties.
