摘要: SUMMARY A double blind, placebo controlled, crossover study using methylphenidate as a standard and two doses of imipramine was carried out in 30 hyperactive children. Particular emphasis placed upon imipramine's action on cognitive function, physiological self-esteem, dosage effects. There were positive effects learning, motor performance, social behavior, but self-esteem showed only minimal fluctuations. Certain measures (in particular, cardiovascular) adversely affected by the drugs. few statistically significant dose but, general, changes suggested that lower resulted less tremor slightly superior clinical response. The effect basically similar to suggesting stimulant-like action. In contrast other studies, was, short term, clinically more effective than investigations, side greater.
