摘要: The autoimmune thyroid diseases (AITD) are complex which caused by an interaction between susceptibility genes and environmental triggers. Genetic in combination with external factors (e.g. dietary iodine) believed to initiate the response antigens. Abundant epidemiological data, including family twin studies, point a strong genetic influence on development of AITD. Various techniques have been employed identify contributing etiology AITD, candidate gene analysis whole genome screening. These studies enabled identification several loci (genetic regions) that linked some these putative AITD identified. Some genes/loci unique Graves' disease (GD) Hashimoto's thyroiditis (HT) common both diseases, indicating there is shared GD HT. HT include immune modifying HLA, CTLA-4) specific TSHR, Tg). Most likely interact their interactions may phenotype severity.
