Study of statistic damage constitutive model for shear failure rock

摘要: Considering the heterogeneity of rock, cohesion for elements throughout rock is supposed to follow a three parameter Weibull distribution, and decreases zero when element fails according Mohr–Coulomb criterion. A damage evolution equation undergoing compression derived based on statistic theory shear force equilibrium failure plane. The reasonable because it considers failed ability resisting pressure frictional force. constitutive model then established verified by comparing simulated finite method results with laboratory triaxial testing results. Numerical show that developed simulates peak residual strength tests very well.
