摘要: Every field-based study will have its critics because scientists can rarely agree on what constitutes the best approach for analyzing and interpreting data or balancing conflicts in design. Those of us who sat through countless weekly seminars realize that are remarkably adept at finding fault with others' studies, but surprisingly inept providing truly fool-proof solutions to perceived problems. Dr. Ash's Bruce's critique our findings is an example this. Our decisions concerning methods were based constraints associated a variety factors: restrictions time labor, amount historical site conditions, need integrate those other team members, difficulty working rugged remote areas southern Appalachian Mountains.
