摘要: I will approach the issue of morality sport hunting (hereafter simply “hunting”) slantwise. Rather than focusing on whether is right or wrong, focus governments (“the state”) are wrong to promote when it a dying cultural practice. In Canada alone, where traditionally very important, hunter numbers down by half in about decade. Letting die natural death, either because we have morally matured accord with evolution our cultures, no time for interest it, would be pragmatic solution theoretical problem. The central question here then is, what moral does state practice deep decline? obvious subtext concerns one two contending philosophical views gets more purchase if can shown that shaky ground proselytizes behalf hunting.
