摘要: Abstract What is the attitude of general public towards hunting? As a recreational activity, hunting stands apart from other forms outdoor recreation like birdwatching in that it involves pursuit and killing wild animals. Today, tight spot. The paper reports national survey using Internet-based questionnaire sent representative sample Danish 2012 (n=1001). Attitudes among adult were examined relation gender, age, education, income residence, association with hunters, conditions, wildlife value orientations. 43% had positive attitude, 31% indifferent, 26% negative hunting. Older respondents rural residents more attitudes than younger urban residents. Respondents “mutualist” orientation most (39%), “distanced” indifferent (44%), “utilitarians” (61%). Assessing levels support important if we are gauge whether socio-cultural can be sustained.
