To assess the association between gene polymorphisms (single nucleotide [SNPs]) of rs8099917 and rs12980602 in IL-28 response to lamivudine treatment naive Chinese rural patients. Material methods. Three hundred fifty-four chronic hepatitis B (CHB) patients treated with were enrolled this study. Rs8099917 SNPs genotyped using matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time flight mass spectrometry. Baseline characteristics genotypes compared 181 173 without response. Results.
