摘要: Mucus hypersecretion is a common characteristic of asthma. Acute severe asthma often associated with neutrophilic infiltration into airways. Neutrophils contain elastase, potent secretagogue in Therefore, we hypothesized that instillation ovalbumin sensitized guinea pigs causes goblet cell secretion by releasing elastase from recruited neutrophils. When instilled the trachea ovalbumin-sensitized pigs, early recruitment neutrophils identified 3,3'- diaminobenzidine staining, and degranulation measured semiautomatic computer-based imaging system occurred.
