摘要: This paper reports the frequency of tumors diagnosed in dogs and cats at Veterinary Hospital Federal University Campina Grande Patos, northeastern Brazil, between 2003 2010. All necropsy biopsy protocols from Pathology Laboratory were revised data related to analyzed. In dogs, skin anexa most frequently (46.7%), followed by mammary gland (24%), genital system (10,3%), alimentary (6.5%). Malignant (78%) more frequent than bening (22%) (p=0.001). was same (39.4%), digestive (8.5%) liver (5.7%). cats, 95.8% malignant. Due diversity observed it is difficult for practitioner diagnose treat these species. As a result, systematic histologic diagnosis determination epidemiology tumors, different regions, are necessary decrease tumor mortality.
