摘要: Salt-finger convection in a double-diffusive system is motion driven by the release of gravitational potential due to different diffusion rates. Normally, when field reduced, salt-finger together with other convective motions buoyancy forces will be rapidly suppressed. However, because destabilizing effect concentration gradient amplified Lewis number, values varying from 10(exp 2) for aqueous salt solutions 10 (exp 4) liquid metals, may generated at much reduced gravity levels. In microgravity environment, surface tension assumes dominant role causing fluid motion. this paper, we report on some experimental results showing generation capillary motio stratified layer. A numerical simulation presented show cause convection.
