摘要: Abstract In construction and maintenance of road in cold regions, permafrost has been the main influence on embankment stability. The cooling effect duct-ventilated embankments underlying soil layers recognized as one technique but if is located such that there little or no ambient wind, its effectiveness may be limited. this paper addition vertical “chimneys” to horizontal ventilated ducts was presented two with without a chimney were examined similarity theory, it found chimneys result more effective under windless conditions than they are not present. straightforward: when air temperature lower internal embankment, flows into from out warming by temperatures embankment. When above strong flow occurs within chimneys. overall net through several cycles varying greater achieved alone. Therefore, special should considered an measure protect warm low wind regions.
