摘要: Microcirculation is the generic name for finest level of circulatory system and consists arteriolar venular networks located upstream downstream capillaries, respectively. Anatomically arterioles are surrounded by a monolayer spindle-shaped smooth muscle cells (myocytes), while terminal branches precapillary arterioles, capillaries all sections postcapillary venules morphologically different perivascular (pericytes). Pericytes essential components microvascular vessel wall. Wrapped around endothelial cells, they occupy strategic position at interface between circulating blood interstitial space. There physiological differences in responses pericytes myocytes to vasoactive molecules, which suggest that these two types vascular could have functional roles regulation local flow within same bed. Also, may play microcirculatory beds meet characteristics individual organs. Contractile activity controlled changes cytosolic free Ca2+concentration. In this chapter, we attempt summarize results field Ca2+ signalling especially light their contractile tissues We investigate literature describe our regarding sources Ca2+, relative importance mechanisms release entry control spatio-temporal signals pericytes, where possible compared those myocytes.
