摘要: The key objective of the superconducting high field magnet work package European Project EuCARD, and specifically model task, is to design fabricate Nb3Sn dipole FRESCA2. With an aperture 100 mm a target bore 13 T, aimed at upgrading FRESCA cable test facility CERN. features four 1.5-m-long double-layer coils wound with 21-mm-wide cable. windings are contained in support structure based on 65-mm-thick aluminum shell pretensioned bladders. In order qualify assembly loading procedure validate finite element stress computations, will be assembled around blocks, which replace coils, instrumented strain gauges. this paper, we report status update progress fabrication tooling coils.
