摘要: Within the past few years a number of important advances have been made in our knowledge normal and abnormal functioning thyroid gland. These resulted part from introduction new methods for treatment thyrotoxicosis. It would seem desirable at this time to reexamine present treating thyrotoxicosis with special consideration status thyroidectomy. The most recent physiology use three major tools: (1) large group goitrogenic compounds, varying considerably chemical structure mode action (sulfonamide thiourea derivatives, sulfocyanates); (2) radioactive iodine (3) relatively purified preparations thyrotropic hormone anterior pituitary. From integrated these tools much has learned concerning transport inorganic thyroid; mechanism its entrapment,
