摘要: The leakage of blast furnace tuyeres is an unpredictable incident, which happens several times at normal operation. reasons for BF tuyere damages were investigated and the liquid slag hot metal found as main causes burn-out. Investigation was initiated in order to describe accurate wear mechanism erosion due slag. Metallographic tests performed by analytically analyzing removed noses damaged tuyeres. Analyses showed Cu–Fe solid solution formation between material Fe-content droplets. A thermodynamic model prepared analysis thermal relations drop causing its damage; based on which, it can be stated that conditions are given under circumstances.
