摘要: Abstract The creep-in-bend behaviour of yttria/urania solid solutions containing 0.5 and 1 wt % Y 2 O 3 , both in the fully reduced oxidized states, has been studied at 940° C under a maximum fibre stress 5000 psi. do not deform plastically these experimental conditions, but yttrium additions to UO 2·18−2·20 reduce its plasticity. is explicable terms hypothesis already advanced explain improved plasticity 2+ x compared with stoichiometric . Possible explanations for solid-solutions are discussed.
