摘要: Biomass particles can experience variable thermal conditions during fast pyrolysis due to differences in their size and morphology, from local temperature variations within a reactor. These lead increased heterogeneity of the chemical products obtained vapors bio-oil. Here we present simple, high-throughput method investigate history experienced by large ensembles imaging quantitative image analysis. We correlation between surface luminance (darkness) biochar particle highest that it pyrolysis. Next, apply this large, heterogeneous char produced laminar entrained flow reactor (LEFR). The results are used interpret actual distributions delivered over range operating conditions.
