摘要: Capacitive electrodes have been studied as an alternative to gel electrodes, they allow measurement of biopotentials without conductive contact with the patient. However, because skin interface is not precisely defined this could lead signal deformation and misdiagnoses. Thus, a capacitive coupling may draw conclusions about applicability such systems. In addition, combining biosignal sensing impedance unit enable bioimpedance measurements, from which additional information on hydration status can be extracted. A prototype system introduced measures over in parallel biopotential measurements. Also presented are first results characterization electrode achieved system.
