摘要: 1. The proposed models of two independent groups, which relate the different states visual pigment to excitation membrane in invertebrate photoreceptors (with particular reference prolonged depolarising afterpotential, PDA) are compared and evaluated. 2. The validity late receptor potential (the “normal” response) as an index photoreceptor sensitivity, i.e., number rhodopsin metarhodopsin transitions, is verified by concurrent spectrophotometry. 3. Electrophysiological observations alone allow calculation 1.3×108 photopigment molecules rhabdom R1–6 a vitamin A-bred Calliphora. 4. The PDA shown be quantifiable terms conversions absorption single light quanta. 5. The comparison discrete fluctuations (quantum bumps) during exposure sustained stimuli that mimic suggest that, PDA, similar potential, may due summation quantum bumps.
