摘要: This article explores the effects of previous sexual abuse on adjustment children in adoptive placement. A conceptual model is used to interpret findings a study comparing placements 35 sexually abused with 113 who had no identified history abuse. Data were gathered from children's case records. Results indicate that experienced more moves when care, increased frequency disrupted placements, greater behavioral difficulties, and attachment problems than comparison group. examines interaction adoption issues discusses implications for social work practice their families.
