摘要: Abstract Introduction AFECTS is a novel psychometric instrument that provides an integrated framework based on affective temperamental traits and their trait dimensions. It has the potential to be used in clinical research fields study psychopathology mental health. now necessary field-test this with diverse populations psychopathological entities. Objective The primary aim was test construct validity internal consistency of Spanish Version Mexican subjects. characteristics were then compared between general population stable psychiatric patients. Methods A cross-sectional design involving 350 subjects from Mexico City 91 patients bipolar disorder (BPD, n=20), major depressive (MDD, n=35), or schizophrenia (n=36) diagnosis. Results six-factor structure dimensions, explaining 61.4% variance, Cronbach׳s alpha 0.93 found. Euthymic (23%) hyperthymic (12%) temperaments most frequent, while dysphoric (3%) apathetic least. Trait dimension differences found Volition, Sensitivity, Instability Index groups, particularly those disorder. Limitations Use self report instrument, small sample not representative conditions.
