摘要: Summary Forty two carcinomas of the gallbladder and 25 mucinous cystadenocarcinomas pancreas were analyzed using silver stains immunohistochemical techniques. Fourteen (33.3%) had argyrophil argentaffin cells 17 (40%) contained endocrine as shown by immunoperoxidase stains. The tumors that largest number well differentiated adenocarcinomas with colonic features. most common cell in these was serotonin-containing (EC) followed somatostatin-containing reacted to pancreatic polypeptide gastrin. Intestinal metaplasia pseudopyloric gland hyperplasia present mucosa adjacent 11 an population similar tumors. Endocrine demonstrated 18 (70%) method although only 9 cells. found carcinomas. more numerous areas colonic-type glands, goblet Paneth secretory products did not give rise systemic manifestations. presence can be explained on basis intestinal differentiation.
