End to end QoS provisioning multimedia wireless/mobile networks using an adaptive framework

摘要: This article presents a framework for multimedia networking in wireless and mobile environment. We consider both application needs as well requirements, try to bridge these paradigms using an adaptive framework. Central this is the concept of representing connection terms multiple substreams each with their own specified QoS requirement making network elements (switching access points), services, protocols (signaling, control, routing) aware requirements such substreams. As resource availability fluctuates, selects schedules order present information content acceptable quality at receiver (or case multicast connections). done while achieving reasonable utilization efficiency resources sharing them fair manner.
