摘要: The ionophore A23187, which has been widely used to assess the role of divalent cations in physiologic processes [1,2], a difficult agent work with due variability response [2–5] and narrow range stimulatory concentrations [6,7]. We previously found that A23187 mimics some effects parathyroid hormone (PTH) on bone, increasing release incorporated 45Ca promoting appearance multinucleated osteoclasts [7–9]. Higher inhibited PTH- induced resorption. now have observed second somewhat different pattern response, marked potentiation by low calcemic hormones. Both patterns are shown here possible explanation for variable is proposed.
