摘要: Anthropologists are beginning to concern themselves with urban problems in the United States. This paper describes anthropological approach a serious problem, narcotic addiction. The purposes of this threefold: first, it will define subculture addiction composed criminal narcotics addicts which has structural and functional features making amenable investigation; second, describe some difficulties encountered investigation methodological strategies have been used circumvent these difficulties; lastly, attempt relate how an applied anthropology can help change various generalized perceptions treatment prevention agents toward addict.
