摘要: Abstract Methadone is a synthetic narcotic drug developed in Germany during World War II. was originally used as morphine substitute for analgesic purposes, yet the past decade it has evolved into primary mechanism treatment of heroin addiction. While methadone seemingly emerged viable technique management addiction, conflicting viewpoints have both medical and addict communities regarding its action, use relative merits. Viewing more “medical” approach to evaluation discussed contrasted with “law order” approach. Based on interviews users participant observation, alternative levels belief systems are examined. Furthermore, an attempt better understand action impact such beliefs, overview shifting public attitudes towards addiction offered.
