摘要: Abstract The friction and wear properties of the ionic ceramics Al 2 O 3 ZrO , covalent Si N 4 SiC rubbing against an ball in vacuum (10 −5 Pa) CF CH F (HFC-134a) gas at 10 Pa were investigated using a ball-on-disk type tribometer. Without exposure to air, surface composition chemical state tracks debris on disks determined with X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). It is found that HFC-134a significantly reduces all ceramic couples, pairs show lower wear. On other hand, metal fluorides and/or fluorine-containing organic compounds are detected sliding surfaces. differences friction–wear behavior may be due products tribochemical reactions, which dependent bond ceramics.
