An investigation on the assembling of WO3 particles on the matrix of silica solution

摘要: A facile way to prepare modified WO3 structure by silica support through sol–gel method is reported. The WO3/SiO2 complex film was synthesized from a two steps process and dip-coating method. films were characterized with laser particle analyzer, IR, Raman. studies of gelation time size distribution sol indicate that the addition could largely reduce polycondensation clusters. reaction between SiO2 further systematically investigated using IR spectra, an insight this illuminated. Results reveal Si–OH in sols tended crosslink at corner-sharing W–O sites, which only edge-sharing WOx clusters be detected. This also approved Raman TEM AFM images. Moreover, gas sensing properties tested. assembled exhibited more stable stability than pure films.
