摘要: Autophagy is a homeostatic process involved in the degradation of disabled proteins and organelles using lysosomes. This mechanism requires recruitment specialized for vesicle trafficking, that may also be other types machinery such as biogenesis secretion extracellular vesicles (EVs), particularly small EVs called exosomes. Among these proteins, Rab-GTPases operate both pathways, thus representing an interesting avenue further study regarding interaction between autophagy machinery. Both mechanisms are development colorectal cancer (CRC), stem cell (CSC) survival communication, although they not specific to CRC or CSCs. highlights importance studying crosstalk release.
