Segurança e efetividade da fisioterapia respiratória em abscesso pulmonar: estudo de casos

摘要: Lung abscess is a necrotic lesion mostly caused by pyogenic germs. Chest physical therapy (CPT) indicated, but there are few studies available and no consensus on CPT use techniques for theses cases. The purpose of this study was to assess safety effectiveness postural drainage in treating lung two Patient 1, male, 30 years old, laid Trendelenburg, semi-lateral ventral decubitus minutes, three times day. After five days therapy, X-ray showed 90% decrease sputum, the 14th day full achieved. Case 2 female patient, 28 treated at same position frequency as case 1. seven exams great pus from abscess. It may thus be said that alone safe effective chest technique abscesses.
