摘要: Synthesis of lamotrigine–dextran conjugates is done by oxidation dextran using sodium periodate (NaIO4), where the aldehyde groups formed were coupled with amino (–NH2) group lamotrigine and reduced to secondary imine groups. Characterization synthesized was ultraviolet, infrared, nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Viscometer used determine molecular weight, degree substitution estimated complete hydrolysis in borate buffer, which found be 8%. Buffer solutions different pH, i.e., 1.2, 7.4, 9.0 perform vitro study amount released high performance liquid chromatography. The showed that rate increases increase pH. anticonvulsant hepatotoxicity screening rat models proved potentially safer than parent formulations.
