摘要: The genetic diversity and the relationships among Tunisian melon landraces introduced varieties belonging to different varietal groups were estimated using six simple-sequence repeat (SSR) markers. All loci polymorphic provided a total of 56 alleles, with an average 9.33 alleles per locus. allelic frequencies differed according accessions, particular found within several accessions. polymorphism information content (PIC) values ranged from 0.568 0.866, 0.754, level sites. differentiation fit model isolation by distance; that was high suggesting low gene flow between two sets melons. dendrogram based on Nei’s distances produced major inodorus distinctly all other dudaim accessions clearly separated reticulatus ones which dispersed local grouped their geographical origin. close molecular relatedness indicates melons have been presumably developed group introgressed one. Based these findings, conservation strategies are discussed. Key words: Cucumis melo , diversity, varieties, SSR markers, melon.
