摘要: Although Finland has not experienced a classical swine fever (CSF) epidemic since 1917, the concern about early detection is relevant. The time until of CSF on pig-breeding farm was predicted by simulation, and earlier CSF-infected farms assessed. Eight to 12 weeks will pass before detected Finnish farm, which resembles index for actual epidemics in Europe. notification suspected infected accelerates most, interventions aimed at promoting investigations general health problem noticed or more comprehensive testing samples currently arriving from pig investigating laboratory could shorten 3 weeks. Results are applicable further simulation an event Finland, studying contingency options promote rapid infectious diseases found present country.
