摘要: Polypharmacological activities of the biflavonoid fraction Garcinia kola seed justify its development as a nutraceutical, however, quality assurance active nutraceutical ingredient (ANI) requires conformance to appropriate standards composition and quality. It was hypothesized that variation in extraction protocols, previously reported for fraction, would lead extract potency. Computational antioxidant capacity simulation (CAOCS) assay G. extracts obtained by different protocols tested hypothesis, through incremental addition (250 100 µL) standard (AOX) solutions photometric titration. Preferred model fitting then statistically selected between mono- bi-exponential decay. Best - fit reaction constant (kptt) integrated into metric ranking (AOC) extracts. The AOC is molecular descriptor kinetics phenolic bond cleavage. Three AOX extracts, namely, ethyl acetate extract, kolaviron acetone were found vary composition, produced optimal values 1500/g, 1150/g, 1050/g respectively. Our findings demonstrated potency are critically dependent on solvent protocol, hence, consistent with hypothesis. CAOCS suitable analytical tool ensuring batch–to–batch sameness ANI prepared from seed.   Key words: biflavonoids, ingredient, capacity, assurance.
