摘要: We sought the optimum conditions for production of benzonitrilase by Rhodococcus rhodochrous J1. The use isovaleronitrile or isobutyronitrile as an inducer greatly enhanced formation. When J1 was cultivated at 28°C 96 h in a medium consisting 0.1 ml isovaleronitrile, 0.5 g polypeptone, 0.3 malt extract, yeast extract and 1 glycerol per 100 tap water (pH 7.2), fed twice concentrations 0.1% (v/v) 0.2% 55 77 h, respectively, during course cultivation, enzyme activity culture broth reached approximately 3,100-times higher than initially obtained level.
