摘要: We review current debate regarding the core competencies that support early mathematics learning, focusing on contributions of inherent system for representing approximate magnitudes, and domain-general systems facilitate learning across academic domains. The latter include executive control enables explicit processing quantitative symbols, such as Arabic numerals, logical problem-solving abilities (intelligence) relations among numerals. neural underlie these abilities, related to mathematical are also discussed, albeit briefly. place mechanisms in an evolutionary context provide some discussion how they interact during evolutionarily novel mathematics.
