摘要: We present the case of a 1-year-old girl with persistent vomiting who was found to have disproportionately large immature teratoma in third ventricle. Magnetic resonance imaging demonstrated heterogeneous intracranial mass ventricle, compressed left cerebral hemisphere and hydrocephalus. Bifrontal craniotomy via transchiasmatic approach achieved total resection tumor. No significant neurologic deficit seen except for double vision disturbances eye movement. Third ventricle teratoma, although extremely rare, may as suprasellar lesion The prognosis after gross is favorable; however, radiotherapy usually postponed until 36 48 months age order avoid complications such stunted growth, endocrine neuropsychologic problems.
