摘要: In situ synchrotron x-ray diffraction was used to investigate experimentally the effect of two common scale inhibitors, amino trimethylene phosphonic acid (ATMPA) and polyethyle-neimine (PEI), on corrosion rate protective formation process during carbon dioxide (CO2) steel. These experiments were performed under mild anodic polarization in sodium chloride (NaCl) solutions at ~1 bar CO2, 80°C, pH 6.5, such that a would form readily absence any organic inhibitors. results compared with longer-term open-circuit weight-loss tests similar conditions but up 30 CO2. The inhibitors had complex, concentration-dependent effects general very significant inhibitory nucleation growth siderite (FeCO3), as consequence resulted an increased rate. pulsed galvanostatic consistent acting by adsorption onto...
