摘要: Abstract Polymeric macrocycles are important as complexation agents in chemistry. The multivalent binding of heteroatoms inside the macrocycle to metals and organic pollutants has gained much interest. A protecting group strategy was applied synthesise functionalized crown ether based on glucose. 4,6-position protected by benzylidene, arms were introduced remaining hydroxyls 2- 3-positions. Cyclization achieved through sodium sulfide ethanol. selective cleavage benzylidene left free hydroxyl C-6 position. propargyl attached polyvinyl azide click reaction. compounds identified nuclear magnetic resonance, infrared spectroscopy mass spectrometry, morphology thermal stability polymer characterized via field-emission scanning electron microscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, powder diffraction differential calorimetry. removal metal ions Co, Cd Pb performed atomic absorption spectrometry different experimental conditions. results indicated that synthesised can effectively such highly sufficient recyclability.
