摘要: Abstract This study investigates whether patients who take nonsterodial antiinflammatory drugs are more likely to have Helicobacter pylori gastritis than age-matched individuals do not nonsteroidal drugs, and also infected with H. dyspepsia, mucosal damage, or ulcers those infected. Two studies were performed, one serological the other endoscopic, both in arthritis receiving chronically. The presence of was identified a sensitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay test. One hundred eighty-three participated 75 endoscopic study. frequency infection increased age, independent drug use; age-adjusted paralleled that 351 asymptomatic without arthritis. from 30.7% age group 21–30 years 73.4% 61–75 years. Nonsteroidal drug-induced injury, either hemorrhages erosions, frequent (61% vs. 32% for 57% 34% erosions infection; only difference significant, P infection. These data suggest damage gastroduodenal mucosa does increase susceptibility
